Subject: QUECHUA ON INTERNET
I am the United Bible Societies (Sociedades
Biblicas Unidas) Publishing Consultant for the Americas, and
copyright matters fall to me.
I have conferred with the translation consultant for these languages, he says
missionaries and the academic community might have some interest.
I need to send a formal note of information to the local Bible Societies
who are the publishers of these texts, but I do not think they will have
any objection.
The requests are for: Quechua Ayacucho, Quechua Cuzco,
Bolivian Quechua - published by Bible Society in
Bolivia, and
Ecuadorian Quichua Chimborazo.
We would certainly want to be sure that the texts were properly identified,
with their copyright information, on the Net.
