Señor: Punkutan takamun, kichamuy. = Someone is knocking at the door, go open it. = Alguién está tocando la puerta, anda abre.
Carlos: Imata? = What did you say? = ¿Qué cosa?

Señor: Ñoga niyki punkuta kichamuy nispa. = I said, go and open the door. = Yo dije, anda abre la puerta.
Carlos: Imay? = When? = ¿Cuándo?

Señor: Kunallan niyki, manachu uyarinki? = Didn't you hear me? = No me escuchas?
Carlos: Manan(m) = No = No.

Señor: Pin? Qawaramuy. = Who is it? Go and see. = ¿Quién es? Anda mira.

Señor: Pin kasqa? = Who was it? = ¿Quién era?.
Carlos: Pichá, manañan tariniñachu pitapas punkupi. = I don't know, they already left. = No sé, ya no encontré a nadie en la puerta.

Señor: Carlos, ñachu picharunkiña wasita? = Carlos, have you swept the house yet? = Carlos, ¿Ya barriste la casa?

Carlos: Nispachaqa, maymantaq warmiyki churarun pichanata? = Then, where did your wife put the broom? = Entonces, ¿A dónde lo ha puesto tu mujer la escoba?

Carlos: Sr. Distinguido, apamuway rumita pichakunaypaq, k'aspitataq kuchikuna pantachinaypaq. = Mr. Distinguido, bring me a rock to clean myself and a stick to scare off the pigs. = Sr. Distinguido, traigame una piedra para limpiarme y un palo para espantar a los puercos.
